About the Director
Mary Buddemeyer-Porter, is an author, Regional Emmy nominated songwriter, and educator. Mary has a BA in music with a minor in science and dance. She received her Masters in Fine Arts education from Webster University, St. Louis. Mary studied Bible at Missouri Baptist University and theology at Maryville University St. Louis where she was an honor student. Her music Education Company, Note Family, Inc. won the Inventors Association of St. Louis award for the best new invention. She is the creator of the Land of Music® music education series by Note Family, Inc. for grades k-8th. The series is taught in schools throughout the U.S. and abroad. Mary gives workshops for music educators at various music conventions and private school settings. She produced a children's music education/entertainment television series Movin' On for three years and a physical fitness television series, Wild Workout for two years. Mary is the main spokesman for Eden Publications, LLC. She appears on national and local television stations across the country and in England and on radio, and has articles written about her work in many, many newspapers across the country. She appeared in New York on The Pet News Channel, several years ago which launched the first "Will I See Fido In Heaven?" publication.
